Vela Journal is a subscription-based tarot journal that lets you log readings, track patterns, and receive insights such as the Pattern Engine and Year in Cards. We provide the service as described on our website, subject to these terms.
You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Vela is a paid subscription service. The current rate is $11 per month. Payment is processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each billing cycle unless you cancel. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods or unused time.
You agree to use Vela only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Vela Journal, including our name, logo, design, and software, is owned by us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service for your personal use while your subscription is active. You do not acquire any ownership rights in Vela.
You own the content you create in Vela (readings, reflections, notes). By using the service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide and improve the service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for marketing or other purposes without your consent.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that Vela will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Tarot readings and insights provided by Vela are for reflection and personal use only. They are not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. Do not rely on them for decisions that require licensed professionals.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of Vela is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or for any other reason with notice where practicable. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. We will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify you by email or a notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
